HISTORY

The Michigan Holistic Nurses' Association began as an organization of nurses dedicated to healing by incorporating complimentary modalities with allopathic practices. In the summer of 1985 nurses interested in holistic health concepts and individual responsibility for health care founded the Tri-County Holistic Nurses' Association. The association name was changed in 1992 to Michigan Holistic Nurses' Association reflecting our expanding interests and membership.
